Cookie Policy
Effective September 11, 2026. Updated September 11, 2026.
This Cookie Policy explains the browser storage and similar technologies that CrocsDeal uses or may use. It should be read with the Privacy Policy. Optional technologies are not enabled merely because they are described here.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text records associated with a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, and identifiers used to remember a choice, protect a service, measure activity, or deliver advertising. A technology may be first-party, associated with CrocsDeal, or third-party, associated with a service provider.
Necessary storage
Public articles are available without signing in. Necessary cookies may be used for protected editorial administration, security, request integrity, and session continuity. These technologies are not used to personalize public advertising. The light or dark theme choice is stored locally in the browser so the site can remember the visitor's preference; it is not sent to an advertising provider.
Consent and preference records
When optional analytics or advertising is activated, a Google-certified consent management platform must present the relevant regional choices and record them. For personalized ads in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the implementation must use a Google-certified platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework and produce current TCF v2.3 signals. Google ad tags are not called when the required storage consent is absent. The footer's Privacy and cookie settings control reopens the active provider so a visitor can review or withdraw a choice.
Analytics
If Google Analytics is enabled, it may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure how visitors use the site. CrocsDeal's implementation is designed to start only after analytics consent, avoid advertising signals and ad personalization, minimize page and referrer information, and stop future collection after withdrawal. The exact technologies and retention choice must match the active account configuration before activation.
Advertising
If Google AdSense is enabled, Google and participating ad technology providers may use cookies for ad delivery, frequency control, fraud prevention, reporting, measurement, and—only where permitted and consented—personalization. Advertising cookies may be associated with domains such as Google, DoubleClick, Google Syndication, or Google Ad Services. Other enabled vendors may set their own technologies as disclosed in the certified consent message.
You can manage personalized Google advertising through Google Ads Settings and participating third-party choices through aboutads.info. Browser controls can block or delete storage, but doing so may remove saved choices and can affect necessary sign-in features. A browser control is not always a substitute for a legally required consent or opt-out signal.
Regional privacy choices
Where applicable, the consent provider may communicate European consent signals and United States opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Platform or Global Privacy Control signals supported by the provider and advertising service. CrocsDeal must respect a valid withdrawal before optional collection resumes. Rejecting optional cookies does not block access to editorial content.
Policy-only pages
Privacy, cookie, data-rights, and other legal pages suppress external consent, analytics, and advertising runtimes. This keeps the disclosure URLs usable without loading an ad tag or the consent-message tag that the page is intended to explain.
Changes and questions
The effective and updated dates on this page identify the current version. Material changes to optional purposes or providers require updated disclosures and, where necessary, a new choice. Use the verified contact in Publisher details for questions or to report a consent control that is not working.
