Editorial and Automated Publishing Policy
Effective October 26, 2026. Updated October 26, 2026.
CrocsDeal publishes independent explanatory articles and practical guides. We use automation and AI tools for research assistance, drafting, editing and verification. Automation can make mistakes; it is not a substitute for a qualified professional's assessment of an individual reader's circumstances.
Evidence and publication
Articles should answer a clear reader question, use appropriate sources, distinguish evidence from inference, and avoid invented experience, quotations or credentials. Claims are checked against primary, official or otherwise reliable information suited to the topic. Checks cover factual support, editorial usefulness, rights, safety, disclosures, media and technical delivery. A material change needs checks for the revised version, rather than relying on an unrelated earlier approval.
Our workflow separates drafting from factual/editorial assessment and records the checks actually performed. We do not claim that a named expert, clinician, lawyer or independent reviewer participated unless that participation occurred. A published article is not a guarantee that all claims will remain current.
Sensitive subjects
Health, safety, financial and legal claims require stronger evidence and caution. We avoid personalised diagnosis, treatment, guaranteed outcomes or advice beyond what sources support. New low-risk guides can be published after their applicable checks; high-risk material may need qualified review or be declined. The Health Information Disclaimer explains the limits of general educational content.
Originality, media and brands
We aim to add an original explanation or useful decision aid, rather than reproduce another publication. Media should have recorded ownership, permission, licence or another valid basis for use. Illustrations must not be presented as real product testing or documentary evidence when they are not. Unresolved rights concerns require investigation and, where appropriate, restriction, replacement or removal of the affected item.
CrocsDeal is independent of the brands it discusses. Product names, images and references do not imply a brand's endorsement, affiliation or authorisation.
Advertising and commercial independence
Payment or advertising must not determine a factual conclusion or suppress a necessary warning. A sponsorship, free product or affiliate relationship must be clearly disclosed with the relevant material. Publication does not automatically confer advertising eligibility: content awaiting the required owner review or curation can remain published without ads. See the Advertising Disclosure.
Links and sources
Related reading stays within CrocsDeal wherever useful coverage exists. External editorial links are limited to references with a clear evidential or trust value, rather than general further-reading destinations. Article source popups explain the reference on this site before an optional visit to the original. Privacy choices, legally required information and necessary rights attributions remain accessible. External links are not presented as a guarantee of search rankings.
Dates, sources and corrections
Pages identify publication and meaningful update dates, author records and relevant references. Source links remain available for verification; an on-site source popup provides context without requiring you to leave the page. Dates should not be reset merely to make old content appear new.
Report errors, unsafe claims, missing disclosures or rights concerns using the Corrections Policy. We investigate and correct supported concerns. A serious unresolved issue can require the affected content to be restricted or removed. We cannot promise that monitoring will identify every external change immediately.
