Advertising, Sponsorship and Affiliate Disclosure
Effective September 11, 2026. Updated September 11, 2026.
CrocsDeal may fund its editorial work through clearly identified advertising, sponsorship, or affiliate relationships. These arrangements must not buy a favorable conclusion, remove a necessary warning, or bypass editorial and safety checks.
Current activation status
Advertising and affiliate delivery are inactive unless the site's legal, consent, account, content-curation, security, and production gates all pass. Development placeholders do not contact an ad provider. A policy description, empty slot, or publisher configuration record is not evidence that an advertisement was served.
Google AdSense
If activated, Google AdSense may select and deliver advertisements using contextual information and, only where permitted and consented, personalized-advertising information. Google and participating vendors may use cookies or similar technologies as described in the Privacy and Cookie Policies. Personalized ads for visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland require a Google-certified consent platform integrated with the current IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Visitors can withdraw through the footer's Privacy and cookie settings control when the provider is active.
Placement and labeling
Ads are labeled as advertisements and visually separated from article text, navigation, buttons, downloads, images, sources, and related-reading links. CrocsDeal does not ask readers to click ads, use arrows or misleading images to draw attention to them, place ads in pop-ups or private communications, or present an ad as a recommended site or editorial link. Advertising and paid promotion must not exceed the substantive publisher content on a page. Legal, privacy, search, error, preview, private, unlisted, and other unsuitable surfaces remain ad-free.
Article eligibility
Only an indexable, substantial article that explicitly opts in and passes the current advertising-content gate can receive a slot. Health, dangerous, misleading, illegal, copied, thin, or otherwise restricted content is excluded or limited under the applicable policy. Autonomous publication does not itself make an article ad-eligible: genuine human review or curation is recorded separately when Google policy or site approval requires it. An uncurated article remains published without ads.
Sponsored and affiliate content
A sponsor, free product, commission, referral payment, or other material connection must be recorded and disclosed clearly before the first affected claim or link. Affiliate links do not change the price unless the merchant states otherwise, and a commission is not guaranteed. CrocsDeal does not currently claim an affiliate relationship unless a named program and its terms have been verified and activated. Product availability, price, suitability, returns, and safety remain the merchant's responsibility.
No endorsement and no support clicks
An advertisement is supplied by a third party and is not a CrocsDeal endorsement, medical recommendation, or warranty. Do not click or refresh an ad to support CrocsDeal. Invalid traffic, incentivized clicks, accidental-click layouts, and misleading placement are prohibited and monitored.
Privacy and control
The Privacy Policy explains advertising data use and opt-out resources. Active ad technology providers must be identified in the certified consent experience with links to their processing details. Policy and data-rights pages suppress the external provider runtimes they describe.
Questions
Use the verified contact in Publisher details to ask whether a specific article has a material relationship or to report an advertisement or placement that appears unsafe or misleading.
