Privacy Policy
Effective September 11, 2026. Updated September 25, 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains how the operator of CrocsDeal collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information when you visit this website, contact us, or use a feature that is made available to you. The verified operator, public contact address, and governing jurisdiction appear in the Publisher details section on this page.
Information we process
Ordinary web requests can provide technical information such as an IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, browser and device characteristics, language, and response or security events. We use limited server records to deliver the site, keep it secure, diagnose faults, prevent abuse, and understand aggregate service reliability. Public reading does not require an account. Private editorial accounts process authentication, session, security, and audit information needed to administer the publication.
If you contact us, we process the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, message, and any supporting details. Do not send medical records, passwords, payment-card information, or other unnecessary sensitive information. CrocsDeal has no public payment system.
Purposes and legal bases
We process information to provide requested pages and communications, protect the service, meet legal obligations, and pursue legitimate interests in operating a secure editorial publication. Where applicable law requires consent for optional storage, analytics, or advertising, those purposes remain denied until a valid choice is available and recorded. Use Analytics preferences in the footer to allow or reject analytics. Advertising choices are separate and use Google’s Privacy and cookie settings control where its consent service applies.
Google advertising and analytics
Google AdSense and Google Analytics are optional and are not activated merely because this policy mentions them. When AdSense is lawfully activated, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to CrocsDeal and other sites. You can control or opt out of personalized Google advertising through Google Ads Settings. You can also use participating-industry choices at aboutads.info.
If third-party ad vendors or networks are enabled, the active certified consent message identifies those parties and links to information about their processing and available choices. CrocsDeal will not enable an undisclosed vendor set. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Optional analytics is consent-gated, configured to minimize page and referrer data, and kept separate from advertising personalization.
Cookies, local storage, and choices
Necessary technologies may support security and private administration. A visitor's theme choice can be stored locally in the browser. Optional analytics, advertising, measurement, personalization, and consent records are described in the Cookie Policy. Rejecting optional purposes does not prevent access to CrocsDeal articles. Privacy and cookie disclosure pages intentionally suppress external consent, analytics, and advertising runtimes.
Sharing, transfers, and retention
We may use carefully selected hosting, security, email, analytics, consent, and advertising providers only for documented purposes and subject to appropriate controls. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a legitimate organizational transfer with continued safeguards. Providers may process information in other countries; where required, appropriate transfer safeguards must be used.
We keep information only as long as needed for the stated purpose, security, dispute resolution, and applicable legal duties. Retention depends on the record: short-lived technical records, consent records, correspondence, and protected administrative audit evidence may have different periods. We periodically review and delete or de-identify information that is no longer required.
Security, children, and external links
We use proportionate technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security. CrocsDeal is a general-audience publication and is not directed to children under 13 or the applicable minimum age. We do not knowingly solicit children's personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child supplied information should contact us.
Articles may link to third-party websites with their own privacy practices. A link does not make CrocsDeal responsible for another site's processing.
Your rights and policy changes
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, withdraw consent, opt out of certain targeted advertising or sharing, and complain to a regulator. The Data Rights page explains how to make a request. We may verify identity before acting and may retain information where law permits or requires it.
We will update the date shown on this page when this policy materially changes. If a change requires a new consent choice, the consent service must request it before the affected optional processing resumes.
Analytics preferences on CrocsDeal
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits to public editorial pages. Before you choose Allow analytics, no Google Analytics tag, request or cookie is started by our analytics integration. Reject analytics leaves it off and does not restrict reading. Close does not give consent. The Analytics preferences button in the footer lets you withdraw or change your choice, including on this policy page. Google advertising choices remain separate.
Your choice is stored only in this browser on this website in a versioned local-storage record named blog-analytics-consent, with the tenant identifier, chosen setting and time. It expires after 180 days; deleting browser storage also removes the choice. If the browser cannot save your choice, analytics stays off. This preference record is not sent to Google.
After acceptance, Google receives page-view, basic session and advertising-impression statistics, including the page title, cleaned page address, limited referrer, browser/device information and technical connection information. Advertising-impression statistics can be reported by the existing AdSense integration after Analytics starts; choosing analytics does not grant advertising personalization consent. We remove URL query strings and fragments from the page address, reduce external referrers to their origin, do not send account IDs or form values, and disable Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals in the tag. Analytics is not loaded on private administration, search, preview or legal pages.
Our host-only analytics cookies use the blog_analytics prefix, including blog_analytics_ga and a stream-specific blog_analytics_ga cookie. They have a configured lifetime of 180 days, refreshed by Analytics use while consent remains valid. Withdrawal stops future collection and removes these site analytics cookies; it does not retrospectively erase data already received by Google. Event-level retention in the existing property is two months and user-level retention is fourteen months, with user retention reset by new activity. These settings do not set the lifespan of aggregated reports. Contact the operator listed on this page for data-rights requests.
Google may process data internationally. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. Changes to analytics purposes require an updated disclosure and, where required, a new choice.
